MHK Spartak mounted an incredible rally from 0-3 down to defeat Avto 5-4 in Game 7 of the Kharlamov Cup semifinals, securing their second consecutive trip to the MHL playoffs final. The Moscow-based club will now face Loko in the championship series of the 2026 OLIMPBET MHL season.
In what was a dramatic seventh game, Spartak erased a three-goal deficit and later overcame a 3-4 disadvantage to snatch victory late in the third period. The win marks the second straight year Spartak has reached the final. In 2025, they claimed the Kharlamov Cup by beating SKA-1946 in Game 7, capturing their second-ever title.
